Ribs chicken beans and greens! Two thumbs up! Big meaty portions and two separate cups of sides

I give 5 stars to the brisket sandwich. Lots of meat in the sandwich with a buttery grilled bun. Brisket is very tender and smokey, and I'm a native Texas so I've had a lot of brisket in my day. Service was quick and friendly. The inside is small with a few tables. Please support this local business. It's the only BBQ place in the area (besides Max City, which is a bit overpriced and doesn't have brisket).

I had the brisket here along with the mac and cheese and potato salad I believe. Everything was delicious. Their bbq sauces are amazing full of flavor. Definitely recommend

Big Ants BBQ in Glassell Park has really good brisket!! My very favorite item here is the brisket burrito. Seasoned rice, whole pinto beans, crema, cilantro, onions, and smoked brisket wrapped in a flour tortilla. The first time having this burrito, i teared up because of how good it was. Also ordered a side of the 1/2 lb brisket. So smokey, tender, and delicious!! Parking is very limited. I've been lucky everytime I go here there's one or two vacant spots. Service is friendly and the place is always clean. Highly recommend if you're craving brisket... but you must try the brisket burrito... it's sooooo good!!!!!

Service excellent everyone was very nice Food magnificent and everything fresh Ambience spectacular Very clean and fresh My husband and I will be back. It was our first time we we're handling business in the area and ran across this place on Yelp. We loved it and definitely recommend it

Big Ants BBQ is hands down my top pick for getting BBQ in the Los Angeles area! I'm always surprised by how few people I hear talking about Big Ants, compared to some of the more hyped spots! Every time I come to Big Ants, the service is super fast and efficient, the food is generously sized and delicious, and the prices are really good (especially for LA)!! A few of my favorite items on the menu here include the Pull Pork Sandwich - it's big, thick, and yummy to chow down on. The Mac-N-Cheese here is also SO creamy, cheesy, and rich! Other sides I often get include the Cole Slaw and/or Macaroni Salad, both of which are lighter, fresh additions to the meats and always tasty as well. I highly recommend trying out Big Ants BBQ if you haven't yet. It's also a great take-out option, we pop into it from time to time when craving some good ol' BBQ, place an order to go, and it's always ready almost right away! Don't miss out on this underrated Barbecue spot in LA!

The platters may look small when they arrive at your table, but they are actually HUGE portions. The plates itself is just very large. Cornbread- delicious and NOT dry Pulled pork- yummm. Not fatty. Well seasoned. But it is seasoned. Not plain. On the sweeter side. Mac&cheese- good al dente noodles Baked beans- a little on the peppery side, but so good. Brisket- best for last. It. Is. The showstopper. Basically, get the brisket. Just do it.

I had heard that this is a great place for BBQ and it's true! A friend and I split a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich. We requested that the sandwiches be cut in half because we planned to share. They not only cut the sandwiches but plated each half for us. The pulled pork was great but the brisket was amazing! I highly recommend the brisket. Cole slaw was good and so were the fries. The orders came with sweet BBQ sauce and spicy BBQ sauce. I preferred the spicy, my friend the sweet. I'm not a fan of the Kool-Ade pickles which I had had elsewhere once before. The indoor area is very sparse. It feels much more of a take-out place even though there is enough seating for twenty or so people. Our first choice table was not clean. Great meal that was reasonably priced. Definitely on my list of places to come back to. 4.5 stars for the starkness and dirty table bumped up to 5 because it's not going to stop me from coming back.
